Your books, already done.
The payments you take in Unit Trac land in QuickBooks, sorted into your own accounts, without retyping a number.
Connected in a minute
Sign in to QuickBooks from inside Unit Trac and approve the connection. Then choose which of your accounts each kind of income belongs in. No files to move and no passwords to share.
Two ways to book it
Pick the one that matches how your books are kept.
- Bank deposits: one deposit for each payment, split by what was paid for and posted to the accounts you choose
- Sales receipts: one receipt for each payment, with a line for every charge, the sales tax and the card fee, into Undeposited Funds or a bank account
Sorted the way you sort it
Rent, late fees, deposits, store sales and taxes each go to the account or product you pick. Unit Trac reads your chart of accounts from QuickBooks, so the choices are your own.
Sync when you are ready
Nothing moves until you say so.
- Send everything since the last sync, or choose the dates
- Pick single payments to send, or leave some out
- Filter by how the tenant paid
- Stop a sync that is running
See exactly what went over
Every sync keeps a history with a result for each payment and a link that opens the entry in QuickBooks. If one payment could not be sent, it says why.
On QuickBooks Desktop? Covered.
Download a Web Connect file for any range of dates and open it in QuickBooks Desktop. Import the same dates twice and QuickBooks skips what it already has. Prefer a spreadsheet? Download the same payments as an Excel file.
QuickBooks sync is included with every account. You start each sync yourself; it does not run on a schedule yet. Refunds are not sent to QuickBooks yet. Sales receipts are for QuickBooks companies in the United States. QuickBooks is a registered trademark of Intuit Inc.
