Switching is the easy part.
Bring your units, tenants and leases over from your current software or a spreadsheet, and let us build your map.
A checklist, not a project
My Migration walks you through the move one step at a time, and remembers where you stopped.
- Pick the facility, or create it
- Import your units and sizes
- Import your tenants and their leases
- Build your map
Start from what you already have
Coming from Storable Easy? Export two reports and upload them as they are. Coming from anything else, or from a spreadsheet? Fill in our two Excel templates: one row for each unit, one row for each lease.
Bring as much as you want
You choose how much comes across.
- Tenants only: names, emails and phone numbers
- Tenants and leases: the unit, the start date, the rent and the paid-through date
- Everything, with each tenant's starting balance and deposit
You see it before it is saved
Every upload ends on a review screen: what will be created, what was skipped and anything that needs a closer look. Upload again later and only the new rows come in.
Your map, three ways
A map of your facility, colored by unit status, is the part people expect to take longest. It does not have to.
- Build it yourself in the map editor
- Upload photos or a sketch and Unit Trac drafts it in seconds
- Send us what you have and our team builds it, usually within two business days, at no charge
Real people when you want them
Stuck on a step? Ask. Someone on the Unit Trac team will help you through it, or build the map for you.
Try it before you move anything
Open a demo account with sample data in about a minute and look around. There are no setup fees and no contracts, so moving one facility first costs you nothing but the time.
The migration checklist appears once we open a migration for your account, so tell us you are switching when you sign up. Cards your tenants have on file are not part of the import, but they can follow in a separate step: you ask your current vendor to authorize the transfer, and we give you the instructions.
